A & W has been established in Canada since 1956. The two founders, Allan and Wright lent their initials to the restaurant that would eventually become a chain of franchised restaurants through-out the country. A & W has a long history of being associated with great food, cars, drive-ins and "Cruisin' the Dub", a tradition that is continued to this day.
